he's a manlet and thats enough
I agree op, I thought the casting was a bit shaky

Andrew Garfield was 27 or 28 when he played Spider-Man. I don't think age matters as long as they look young.
20 ffs it's the one thing that I can't suspend my disbelief over

Isn't Spiderman a 42 year old teacher in the comics now?
38

He's late 20/early 30 at max

I have no idea. But Garfield was playing a teenage version of the character.

>I don't think age matters as long as they look young
this could be /tv/s motto

STOP IT NOOOW
The fella is supposed to be graduation high school and I guess the lady is supposed to be a few years younger than him.

If you actually look young, then it's until about 26.
If you're just a manlet, regardless if you look younger or not, it should be until you're 22
If you look young AND you happen to be a manlet, prepare to take teen roles til you turn 50.
Alan Ruck was 29 when he played high school student Cameron Frye in Ferris Buller's Day Off.

And he wasn't very convincing either. Maybe could've passed for a college student.

Pic related is the only believable casting of an adult in a teenage role I've seen.
Luke Perry was 34 when Beverley Hills 90210 started and was 44 when it ended. He was a teen at the start of the series and should have been a twenty-something at the end.
Just a young boy.
