1) Trailer 2 It will be released on Friday, August 18. It will be shorter than the first trailer, but new shots of the casino planet, Ren walking toward Snoke'a throne, and more shots of the fight on Ach-To will be shown. The last trailer is set to release late October.
2) "Decimated" Rian Johnson said one word as a part of the scroll, which is "Decimated". The scroll is talking about Ileenian System, which was destroyed by Starkiller base. The first order is advancing on the Resistance and is seeking to destroy what is left of the resistance. In the first 15 minutes of the movie, the resistance base is attacked.
3) Luke's new power During the battle on Ach-To, Luke does not ignite his lightsaber. He uses the force to throw the Knights of Ren all over the place and then finishes them off by summoning lightning from the sky. This is rumored to be one of the coolest sequences of the movie. During this battle also, Ren's lightsaber cuts Rey's right arm and injures her. Luke comes to her aid and Ren flees.
4) Ren's training Ren will visit Mustafar to revisit the past of his grandfather and there will be some flashback sequences. He will also train on Snoke's mega destroyer with Snoke's red guards.
5) Rey's family Surprise! Rey is not Luke's daughter, she is a child of the force like Anakin. Rey was force sensitive as a child, which made her vulnerable to being taken by the first order. Rey's mother asked Luke to hide her in a safe place, and after Rey left with Luke, she was killed. Luke dropped Rey off on Ach-To under the supervision of Unkar plutt.
6) Battle of Crait The biggest sequence in the movie, which the Resistance manages to pull off a small victory for the time being. Episode 9 might open with the conclusion of the battle of Crait. This battle will feature all of the main characters.
7) Running Time/Rating The movie's running time is about 2 hours flat and will carry a PG-13 rating.
