Is there a director commentary for 'The Water Diviner'? It's Russel Crowe's first, and only as far as I know, time as a director in addition to acting. I know several people who worked on it, and apperently it was a disaster of a production, with Russel being the biggest disaster of all. Don't know if any of that would make it into the commentary though.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the only Before movie with commentary is Midnight and Hawke + Delpy are along with him. Not a great track overall. Same deal for Boyhood, it's Linklater and maybe 10 people involved in it. That being said, his commentary for Dazed and Confused is really wonderful and completely emblematic of who he is and what his films feel like. I wish studios would be smart enough to let us listen to the people who actually have the most insightful information to offer about a film.

It's actually surprisingly decent.

The Matrix also has critical commentaries. I get why studios might hate this, but I really wish it happened more often.

The critical Basic Instinct commentary for example, was damn good.

LOTR: Cast and Director commentary are both GOAT
Independence Day: Something about this one just clicks. Informative and I'm amazed it doesn't come up more.
