A lot of people hate on the Friday series cause it had nothing to do with the movies but from what I've watched (halfway or most of the first season) it's a pretty good series.

Stephen king ripped it off in the TXF ep he wrote,its beyond me how he can shit out books but not create an original script for a 45min show.

Side note,it would've been cool if Halloween could have been an anthology series like carpenter wanted it to be.

I actually haven't seen the old ones yet. I've been wanting to watch those for a while now but can't seem to find the time. Most of the endings in the newer show are pretty dark already, which I like. I'll have to find some time for the old series.

I watched a bit of Monsters only a few weeks ago and I couldn't take to it at all. Episodes had cool concepts but I think the low-budget strangled it or something, idk there was just something off about the whole thing
