>>85808372
I really hope you're from japan, and not some stupid weeaboo.
Where does /tv/ get comfy things to put on their walls? I don't want to hang posters like im 16 but good printings can be +$80
Finally Kong 4K release.
>>85808372
very very weeb, but looks comfy.
>>85809695
you look like you live at home with parents from the small amount of info here.
>why isnt Grimlock eating the gold cat?
>>85809858
No it doesn't you fucking liar.
>>85810084
go to a market of some kind. most cities have one downtown once a month. you can buy a good looking poster and put it in a frame to make it stand out better. take pictures with friends and print those and frame those also works.
>>85810100
I thought 4K blu ray compatibility wasn't available yet for PC
>>85810342
>take pictures with friends and print those and frame those also works.
don't do this, unless you're a full blown normie.

>weaboo
Hello, Summer.
>>85808372
Are you planning on buying a new TV?
ah the nu-male thread
>>85811183
weeaboo is a term used to refer to people who have an unhealthy obsession with all things japanese (yes, anime included) and who desperately want to be japanese.
Is this your first day on the internet? I bet you don't even know where the term originates from.
>>85811664
I'm glad you found a thread for you.
>>85808372
>Having a satellite dish on your household
Holy shit how can you be so fucking disgusting?
>>85811904
I hardly think a few pieces of Asian wall art qualifies OP as having an "unhealthy obsession with Japan".
>>85808372
You just keep cleaning your place up. Proud of you
>>85811183
>>85811225
Why? The one we have works fine.
>>85812056
We had satellite until we got tired of paying for commercials. Bell took back the box, but left the dish; I can't be bothered to take it down myself.
>>85812106
Thanks, anon.

>there are people on /tv/ RIGHT NOW who DON'T OWN A TV
>>85814635
TVs are for seniors and retards. Regular people use their computer or their phone.

These threads do not contribute to the board "culture" nor do they provide any serious discussion or information. Delete this and refrain from posting it again. Back to r/4chan, kiddo.

It's worlds better than 20+ "Black-kino", the latest capeshit, or yet another "x who did nothing wrong" threads.
>>85815217
I use my 42" as my computer monitor. Now what?
>>85815292
Problem? Am I not allowed to exercise and be a fan of Taylor Swift?
>>85815627
the problem is that you dont have a tv
>>85815217
I can't tell if you're memeing or if you're actually this stupid.
I liked it better when everyone on /tv/ was a pporfag or a neet
now ya'll have better homes than me :(
I am so fucking depressed

Where do you live OP? You really nailed the comfy aesthetic
>>85816255
because you made such a compelling argument?
and ofc it does, it's a staple of this site.
>>85815435
They contribute to the board "culture" more than the endless generals ever will.
>>85815445
Glad you like it, anon.
>>85816248
Northern Ontario. Everything is thrift or second-hand because I'm a poorfag, but at least it gives me that aesthetic.
Old picture, but basically still the same
>>85808372
Can you post a picture of your pine trees?
>>85818766
It's night, so...not really, no.

>>85815435
ur gay and upset because you watch movies on your phone you faggot millennial
>>85821037
no I just don't like a bunch of furniture cluttering the place up. and technically there is no lease so I have to be prepared to leave at any time.
>>85815375
what's the story with those tv's? I saw one at my local thrift store and I couldn't figure out why it was so huge. Why not just get a CRT monitor? That's what I have.
>>85812056
I still have one on my house and we haven't had the service since like 2002
>>85820870
Ya, I'll change setup every thread, guy.

Looks like a cozy corner my man. It comforts me to see the places that people have made for themselves.
>>85821184
17x17x22, really just about even with any 20 inch consumer tv, offhand I know I had a consumer that was 24x18x19.
They're broadcast monitors, made for viewing. Typically found in production studios. Keep an eye out for them in 90's movies they're always just thrown in there. In general they're just a lot more sharp than consumer Crt's. Cost about 10 grand or more back when they were being made. This one is from 2003
>>85821528

>I can't tell
u might be stupid or a grandpa, like the fucking said lmao
>>85821325
That would be preferred.
>>85820384
If you dim the room for a comfy movie, the walls and ceiling turn into a fucking blurry fucking kaleidoscope. That is fucking disgusting. I couldn't handle that, I would chimp out within three minutes and pull that shit off.
>>85820946
thank u i like the boxes and most of it was free
>>85822054
I can't watch a movie in completely dark rooms, always have to have at least 1 lamp on.
Does make your TV look bigger though.
Looks better at night.
>>85822244
Really? I'm the opposite, I can't watch movies with any light. I rarely watch movies during the daytime because of that, if I do I blackout the windows.
>>85822408
Guess we shouldn't watch movies together.
I get depressed if I can't see outside.
>>85822540
You're supposed to be looking at the television, not the windows, dingus.
late to the party
I can't get a good pic but it's a projector and I'm in the dark like a true dungeon master.

I think you have a cool room, but 2001 and The Thing are both entry level kino for their gernre. (not the guy you responded to btw)
>>85822540
I feel you, I get that way at times too, but I can stomach it for watching a movie because I'm distracted.
>>85827454

I got pic related and it makes ps2 games look like shit
haven't tried other systems since that's all i have, but it can't be that great

>>85821184
>>85821671
It's a sony PVM.
They have twice the line resolution of a consumer CRT, so they're SUPER sharp, and they accept RGB video.
Best quality display money can buy for SD content.
For HD content, you want BVMs, or a CRT projector.
>>85820384
None of my rooms are discos or early 2k ricers.
>>85827898
Looks weird with a rainbow on screen but it's nice when a movie is playing.
>>85827834
No, its a bvm. although most people just call them pvm's. It accepts RGB but I run component on it because there's no need to use RGB.
