I generally like them all, but I would say the game handles the source material better.

The game is more reserved and quiet, which is more like the comic, the show sensationalizes everything, every episode has some action seuquence.

I haven't watched the TV show since season 3 and I haven't even bothered with season 3 of the game

The show is completely unwatchable at this point. It used to be great, but the writers started getting boners for the fame and reputation, and now it's just formulaic apocalypse dysphoria and overplayed zombie makeup, mixed in with fucking stupid gory deaths.

Comics are still pretty good, though I'm a story arc behind.

Their Game of Thrones game also is hot dogshit. I couldn't finish that or their TWD S3. They miss the entire point of both franchises. Like you said all they do is push a revolving door of characters. Nothing to feel invested in. They should just focus on gameplay if they don't want to write.

AMC TV show was good for the first two or three seasons, then they shit the bed.

Comic was alright, but only got really good around the Western arc.

Telltale was good for 1 and 2, but 3 was hot trash.

Never rated the show after watching 2 seasons and haven't read any comics at all since I was 11. The game Season 1 was seriously good and Season 2 was still pretty good, but Season 3 was complete dog poo.
