for me, the biggest problem with america today is nihilism and the lack of religion. evangellicalism isn't fufilling enough, and it has a lot of toxic ideas like not focusing on the moment or the future (instead on the presumed soon return of Jesus which a lot of evangellical sects think) and the fact it thinks poor people are being punished by God.

If we removed religions like islam, judaism, and catholicsm, it would make america's cultural problems worse, america is a big country that stretches over thousands of miles and people playing rock music while in church isn't appealing to a lot of people on a spiritual level.
