Here's what actually happens in that circumstance, Tyrell's muster their fuckhuge army as soon as news of the septs destruction arrives.
They march on KL under the proviso of 'restoring the throne' since cerci has no claim or to restore 'order'.
The lannisters either flee or die or both since they're broke have no men and are out of allies.
Tyrells install a puppet and rule westeros since nobody minds them much.

Allying with Daneryes and dorn was a pointless plot contrivance when the Tyrells had the biggest army anyway they didn't need help.
Also their banner men defecting and the lannisters having tens of thousands of red uniforms to give them is tv tier writing at its worst.

The stormlands has 30k levies at most. The Reach can easily amount to 70k, and it's likely that's about how much they should have, if not more. Assuming even 90% of the Reach's men defected, that still leaves 7k. That would be enough to hold a well provisioned fortress for a very long time, or bleed the shit out of any assaulting army. It's unlikely 90% would defect however, and I'd be willing to bet Highgarden itself has substantial levies.

Also it was more that Renly had support from the Reach. The Reach doesn't really need support tbqh they could probably wreck fucking shit all on their own. It'd probably take 2-3 kingdoms to take them on.
