Nah OP. I just bought the entire collection recently and the show really holds up. It's so low brow it's almost high brow.

Only ever saw the last season of it since it was airing concurrently with latest CYE season. Loved it. Checking in a few of the earlier season episodes though I don't seem to enjoy it as much, maybe I only enjoyed the segments where they're making their stupid commentary on whatever MTV's airing

I felt the same way. The writing of the non-music video parts was honestly kind of weak in the old episodes compared to the revival season.
