he did what he had to do, his ship was never designed for long term missions like Voyager so he had to colour outside the lines to help try and save his crew. It's all well and good moralising when you're sitting in a nice comfy ship but at least he had the guts to do what needed to be done in order to keep his people alive.
>>85754547
Lucky Jack, rommel, Picard, Hammond of Texas, iceman, captain winters,
>>85753115
actual great leader coming through, step aside.
>>85755330
He didn't allow that Sargent to go after the Chief and Boomer because he felt that there was no probable cause. If he was anything he was a man of principles, defender of democracy, civil liberties and rule of law.
>>85756617
Bullshit, if he was doing it only to survive, why didn't he stop when Voyager ran into them?
>>85756289
I read somewhere they had offered the role of Picard to Edward J. Olmos but he refused them.
>>85758033
Because Voyager was in just as much of an untenable situation as he was.
They're still generations from home.
Maybe if they were always together, he could have been persuaded to find another way.
But he already made a deal with the Devil. His hands are bloody. Better to get it done
>>85758119
It makes me sad, they should have had the Equinox become a larger part of the show. It would have been interesting to see a season play out with the two ships together, something similar to BSG and Pegasus.
>>85758341
Voyager suffered pretty hard from the lack of continuity
It would have made a fine serialized show, like how BSG would be
But the mandate was episodic so that's what we got
>>85758392
Shame, it's like year of hell. That was originally supposed to be an entire season arc story without a reset at the end but I guess they changed it for the reason you said.
>>85753049
Those fake contacts look disgusting
