I doubt the who movie takes place on a raft. Refn probably just didn't go further because he didn't want to spoil anythingand he's only written the first 10 minutes of the movie and will make everything else up as he goes along

Except he's made bunch of films where there is lots of talking. He is capable of it. Pusher films had lots of dialogue, Bronson had lots of dialogue.
