Will any film from this generation be regarded as such?

in terms of films that will stay present in our pop culture in addition to being well crafted films, the LOTR trilogy

You know stuff for smart people like me, like Whiplash, Wolf of Wall Street, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, the good stuff...

Yeah this movie creeps me out, it just has this weird vibe. Other movies around the same time like King Kong don't creep me out. Something's wrong with this movie.
I'll just leave this here

Legit 10/10 family film. Maybe The Iron Giant or Babe?
Judy.. why
Kevin Smith recently compared GOTG to Wizard of Oz and said it would be remembered in fifty years for the same qualities.

something's definitely "off" about it. the technicolor, the cheery manufactured brightness. it's on my "movies that are considered great but make my skin crawl" list along with E.T.
Lord of the Rings is a good one. The Dark Knight seems like it'll be kind of like our Empire Strikes Back. Pixar's best will be remembered as great family movies for a long time.
I fear the future of film 100 years from now
