Rushed. But god damn was the entire run of Season 5 an event. I stayed up till 5 AM for nearly every episode. Especially final three

I enjoyed the new season, but it was basically pointless without Mako and the epilogue was laughably bad.

I think that it suffered tremendously because it had to be linear whereas the show up until that point were like self-contained stories

This season was also a lot more plot and dialogue-driven than the previous seasons, with much less visual invention

It was alright season 4 was better

It started out fine, but turned to shit quickly. We'd have been better off without an ending.

Conceptually I don't mind the ending, but they rushed it and it fell flat.
Might have been better if they split it over two episodes to let it sink in a bit.

Ending was shit, though I have a much higher opinion of the stuff /tv/ hated (Ashi, everything past episode 3, etc.)
