Social Justice and modern day progressivism is the literal antithesis of 60s progressive attitudes.

Back then the message was everyone was equal and everyone should be judged on their merits and ability. Now progressives demand that the very first thing you take into account about a person is their race, then sex, then orientation, then religion, then any disabilities, then apply a bunch of victim labels to that person, and assort them in a victimhood heirarchy. Next they demand that all cultures be kept separate and never mingled to preserve cultural purity and prevent "appropriation". Finally, they are actually demanding resegregation of colleges, which will likely spread to businesses and other places.

Modern day progressivism is an exacting parallel of 50s white supremacy, and it is an absolutely abhorrent ideology.
