What would be your favorite alternative reality movie?
>David Lynch's Return of the Jedi
>Stanley Kubrick's AI
>Sam Raimi's American History X
What would be the worst one?
>Tommy Wiseau's Zodiac
>Wes Anderson's It
>Spielberg's Matrix
If you don't get it just try to autistically imagine an unusual combination of material and creator.
A Legend of Zelda animated movie by Miyazaki

Michael Bay's Mommy

This is the worst thread I've seen today.

Ed Wood's 2001: A Space Odyssey
Imagine it.
>>85579478
>Wes Anderson's It
But wes anderson would be the only director who'd not only put the fully explicit gangbang scene to film in it's entirety, he'd be hailed as an artist for doing to so tastefully.
Interstellar directed by Woody Allen

Plan 9 just without vampires and zombies.
>>85579813
That would actually be 10x better than what we got.
There's actually a really good book filled with these, about all the projects that never got off the ground
Would recommend if you are interested in this stuff OP
>no mention of this yet
Weird. Plus it would change other movies in this alternate universe

Snyder's The Passion of the Christ
Best: Tommy Wiseau's Dracula
Worst: CGI remakes of Miyazki's films by Dreamworks Animation
>>85580062
Woody Allen's The Passion of the Christ
>>85580114
We already have Life of Brian
>>85580097
>Best: Tommy Wiseau's Dracula
Tommy already looks like a vampire. Thatd be perfect
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels staring David Bowie and Mick Jagger
Edgar Wrights Ant Man probably would have been the best MCU movie

Del Toro's Hobbit

It would have been meaningless pretentious style over substance like everything Jodorowsky has ever done. He's the reason the movie didn't get made and the only good things about it were created by more talented people.
>>85580332
I can only base my opinion on Holy Mountain as it's the only Jodo's movie I've seen to date but I loved it and I think he could've been able to make an amazing space opera movie.
>Zack Snyder's The Mummy
For some awful ones
>Joss Whedon - Justice League Dark
Imagine how bland everything would look
>Kevin Smith -Superman (96 reboot)
Zack Snyder - Superman trilogy
Sam Raimi's American History X was already made, but they used the working title of the movie, Spider-man, for the theatrical release.
Christopher Nolan's Toy Story

Oh God no
I want to watch cape kino directed by Wes Anderson.

If a Dune lover wrote a script, and Jodorowsky had to stick to it, it would have been a good movie. But his ideas for changing the plot and his weird-ass additions like Paul being immaculately conceived by a drop of blood from his father in a bullfight were retarded.
>>85581712
Quentin Tarantino's Casino Royale I'd like to see
>>85579478
I want to see a 1970's Wolverine movie starring young Clint Eastwood and a 70's The Matrix starring Bruce Lee as Neo.
>>85582665
>70's The Matrix
Basically 'World on a Wire'
>PT Anderson's The Godfather
>Coen brothers' American Psycho
shit edition:
>Tarantino's Goodfellas
>>85579916
Ugly as fuck cover, glad I got a reprint.
>>85582430
Maybe. I love the books, but I also like Lynch's Dune for what it is. It would have been interesting at the very least to see what weird shit Jodorowsky would do.

I want to live in the reality where Schwarzenegger played Animal Mother in Full Metal Jacket.
