I'm just not convinced that there's a better war film than FMJ. It has everything - seriousness, humor, good music, not too long, R rating.

I like war movies but can never finsih that one. I appreciate Malick's work but it really is not my style of film. Too many overly long philosophical dialogues and monologues.
