Just watch the show. A lot of the episodes are filler in season 2. But I still enjoyed them. David lynch saves season 2 with the last episode.

I hope you forgot most of FWWM because it's more than a spoiler, it kinda ruins most of the mystery. Watch Season 1 and 2, then FWWM. Watch Season 3 as well, it's really really good.
