The confusing thing is that in motion the CGI in the Raimi movies usually looks pretty good, compared to Homecoming, at least on Spidey himself, not so much the Green Goblin and stuff.

I agree that the old spiderman costumes looked better, but the new one makes more sense within the MCU. Stark made the suit so he made it sleek and functional rather than adding a bunch of weird ridge things that look nice.

Also Tom Holland is the perfect Spiderman. He's the right age and strikes the perfect balance between cheeky quipping Spiderman and nerdy Peter Parker. Tobey was shit at both and Garfield only nailed the Spiderman side.

Everything looks too clean nowadays, they really need to start dirtying things up
