My honest opinion? It doesn't match the first one at all in terms of kino. The first movie is full of passion, with the perfect undertone of vengeance.

JW2 seemed to be more of a cash in. Story is replaced with gunfights. Mostly the same shots with a pistol. There is one scene involving mirrors which was cool, but that's it.

My one problem with this movie is that it got way too cartoonish at the end. That whole fistfight was a cringefest and completely unnecessary.

First one is ok but second one is dogshit. There is no tension. Just stunt coordinated dancing ala the prequels.
