I called it a long time ago. Fucking Disney hacks, is it really so hard to make a scene where Luke takes down the knights of Ren single-handedly? I think it's good that Luke doesn't fight. Yoda didn't. Obi-Wan barely did. The whole point of the Jedi is that they're more than just superpowered space warriors, they've also got that peaceful monk aspect to them. The climax of the Original Trilogy was Luke throwing away his weapon.

That is highly possible. Mark said that his "the jedi needs to end" quote was only an audio recording. I wouldn't be surprised he's just floating around talking to Rey. When Rey is seen training, she seems to be alone.
