When I was a kid, I fucking hated KOTH, thinking it was too boring.

As I've got older, I've realised that the fact that it's "Boring" is its most endearing feature. It's just about normal people, doing normal things, and that's cool.

It was created by Mike Judge after he moved to Austin, Texas. So it's a satire of the Texan culture. Similarly how his current show, Silicon Valley, is a satire of its namesake.

Yeah I had that same problem. I was all about Simpsons and Futurama, and anytime KOTH came on, I was annoyed at Channel 4 for not putting more of the former on.

I fucking LOVE KOTH now. Easily in my top 3 animated shows of all time. It's just comfy AF
