Everybody grows old and dies. But what the fuck is the point of wallowing in it like this? Anyways, the annoying part is how the movie acts like focusing on the decay of the protagonist's body and his looks is some kind of uncompromising view of the world, but it's just morbid and shit that's been done 100 times before. Fuck, Charlie Kaufman's entire career is just him ripping off Woody Allen while throwing in a few more meta bits.

And Woody Allen was ripping off his European contemporaries anyways. This shit is an imitation of an imitation.
