This movie was greh
I won't deny it has its flaws, but it was still fun.
The final fight was the usual light show, but the build up was great.
Tony Stark was an ass of a plot point, but at least he wasn't in the movie as much as I expected.
As long as a movie is fun, it's a good movie right?
>>
No.
Tony was a fundamental part of the movie, representing an absentee father than his twink son wanted so desperately to impress.
This meant twink had to have something worth taking away, this meant the suit had to me more than a nice looking version of his old suit, and that was a major part of it not "feeling" like Spiderman.
This drive to impress the "father" also replaced guilt, which has traditionally been the driving force behind Spiderman's heroism. And that's another reason why it didn't feel right.

He might have only been onscreen for a few minutes, but his inclusion basically ruined the whole thing in about 5 different ways.

I agree, the movie was fun, but it kind of had a different feeling than "SpiderMan".
I guess thats what happens when you dont have an origin story. This would have been a good sequel if we ahd gotten an origin movie.

>As long as a movie is (((fun))), it's a good movie right?
>literally 5 seconds into the film someone is chastised for calling native Americans "Indians"
>literally 10 seconds in a black school news reporter is macking on blonde white girl
>the new black Mary Jane's WE speech about how the Washington monument was built by slaves
>both of Peter Parker's love interests are black
>villain's wife is black
>Peter's Mexican school rival has a white blonde girlfriend
>the oh so edgy /b/ Fuck Marry Kill scene with high schoolers fantasizing about old men, also participated in by a gay male
>Aunt May’s “Gay is OK!” speech

etc. etc.etc.

When is enough enough? I find myself more and more only watching old movies/shows.

>Gay is okay

Literally where was that? I usually notice shit like this, but I entirely missed that. Didn't lose focus long or go to the bathroom or anything.
