Why were these movies so good? It's readily apparent that Sony's film studio is run by idiots, but they someone managed to make two of the greatest capeshit movies ever and another, though flawed, which turned out better than all subsequent attempts at the character.

Does anyone else unironically enjoy the Nickelback song that plays at the end of 1?
