A recommendation list by /tv/ for anyone who wants to become patrician.

Those movies don't have anything in common, but all are great directors so watch all their movies.

You should definitely watch Wings of Desire if you liked Paris, Texas and Ghost Dog if you liked Dead Man.

Just watch everything else Wenders and Jarmusch ever did. They're largely excellent filmmakers.
Then move onto Kieslowski and Fassbinder.
