Since FOX is 'reassessing' the Alien franchise maybe we could get a sequel to Resurrection that concludes Ripley 8's story. Retcon the look and comedy of Resurrection and make the sequel more ground based and realistic like Alien/Aliens.

Why don't they do something like this /tv/? Resurrection REALLY wasn't THAT bad. Plus you got Sigourney Weaver in it.

What what I remember it wasn't total shit, but the Aliens themselves weren't frightening and most people found the hybrid thing daft looking, not dangerous. It has Winona Ryder in it too, so it makes me feel sad by reminding me I'll never snog her. The Aliens look great at some parts though, but the atmosphere is non-existent ~~*insert space joke*~~ so it really doesn't matter.
