If you ever watched Supernatural to get scared, you might be genuinely lacking brain cells; the whole thing was about camp all the way. Look, I like supernatural for what it is, but I'm aware how tiring it gets to actually invest yourself into it. It's not something that's genuinely above par, but a show where actors and writers do a minimum required effort just to churn out an episode.

The only reason I watch it is because I don't care that much about TV anymore and everything seems overdone, but if you're someone new to TV, you'd want to start off from the 12 episode/season format and watch the actually high effort stuff first

Also Supernatural is great. 1-5 are TVkino. You don't have to watch the rest of the seasons unless you want to see more of the characters. But the most recent season was actually the best since 5 I think.
