I really, really hate this design.

The point of Pennywise was that he was just an ordinary looking clown. Its the perversion of something that's traditionally seen by kids as something cheerful and fun.

This version looks like something out of a Slipknot music video.

What a completely normal looking clown.

Kids would surely flock to him and trust him. Not creepy at all, with his giant Mario Einstein forehead.
