Problem with SM3 is it tries to do too much at once. You have a big mess of Spidey, evil Spidey, Sandman, Hobgoblin and Venom. It could've used another hour to establish Venom better instead of rushing it in the last half hour or so.

I really don't feel that homecoming should be compared to the other two.
It's so far fro ma traditional spiderman story that it seems more like a spin-off comic was adapted rather than the mainline.
