I can't say for sure, because Tommen might die in the books due to other, unspecified reasons, and her main opposition could be Aegon, but regardless, the show direction likes to pitch Dany against a clear cut evil character rather than having her be more morally ambiguous. Even her threats of burning people alive are portrayed as straight "YAASSS QUEEN SLAY" moments rather than a serious character flaw.

Here is why: They combined the Sansa and Winterfell stories into one. These are completely separate stories in the books, and thus they are not compatible. There is zero reason Littlefinger would make that deal, and also zero reason Roose would accept, given Sansa is wanted for the murder of Joffrey.

The plot made perfect sense in the book as the Boltons and Lannisters were propping up their control of the North with a fake Arya. But Littlefinger handing over the real Sansa? Retarded.
