I can understand that. I'm worried the SJWs will call it a victory, but then not watch it. Netflix had a show called 'The Get Down' (highly reccomend it btw) that had a mostly black / latino cast. And all the SJWs were celebrating this new move in diversity et cetera, but not enough people watched it, and it got cancelled after it's second season. What kind of new monsters do you want to see in S11? Pitch some ideas if you have them.

I'd like to see some creepy dolls, classic example of an unnerving monster. They did something similar in Night Terrors but the dolls didn't end up doing much and the design was a bit wasted I feel.

I love Capaldi's Doctor personally but maybe I'm just old-fashioned. I like my Doctors to have a unique outfit throughout their era, something that stands out and doesn't change that much. Something you can wear to a Halloween party and instantly be recognised. You can do that with just about any Doctor, especially 4 and 5, but not with Capaldi.
9's outfit was so simple, yet great. 10 switched between a brown and a blue suit if I remember right, and 11 kept to his bow tie and tweed until around his last series when he started to wear an overcoat sometimes.

The Doctor and Amy land on the Starship UK which he's taken her to for her first TARDIS trip. They see a little girl on the scanner who's upset, and the Doctor appears on the screen before Amy's even realised what's happened.
Once they get on board, they realise that the little girl is upset because of something to do with the weird clown faced Smilers which are a form of police. The Doctor wanders off to check out below decks because he's noticed there's no engine noise, and encounters Liz 10. Meanwhile Amy checks out a little tent covering a huge tentacle, and gets caught by the Winders as a result.
She wakes up in one of the ship's voting booths, and suddenly realises she's pressed the button to erase her own memories but recorded a video message begging herself to protect the Doctor from whatever she's just found out.
The Doctor arrives and hits the 'protest' button, sending himself and Amy down into the gullet of the beast. The Doctor manages to trigger a vomit blast to get them out, and they're saved from a Smiler by Liz 10 who reveals herself as the Queen.
In her bedroom she explains her situation, having secrets kept from her by her own subjects, and her desire to figure out what's going on with the ship. Meanwhile the Doctor's noticed something wrong with her masks.
The Winders arrive and insist they all go down to the basement area including the Queen. They find a huge exposed bit of brain being constantly lasered, and the Doctor quickly works out that this is what they have instead of an engine. Meanwhile Amy notices that the children it supposedly ate are all safe and well.
The Queen is made to watch a video she recorded for herself, realising that she's gone through this realisation before and she's far older than she thought she was, but every time she's erased her own memory. They all discover the truth, which is that the star whale came for them when the Earth was roasting and they exploited it to escape.

Furious, the Doctor decides he'll have to lobotomise the creature and leave it a braindead vegetable if he's going to save the humans. He also gets angry at Amy for choosing to forget the information and try to protect him from finding it out.
Amy, however, realising through its parallels to the Doctor that the Star Whale came to the humans out of compassion, forcibly presses the button to disable the torture device. Nothing happens and the whale keeps flying.
It's decided there will be no more secrets on Starship UK. 11 and Amy share the best hug in NuWho in front of a window looking onto space.

The issue is that nobody's really taken any risks to broadcast. Shows like Sherlock and Downton are popular partly because they have broadcasters' support. Doctor Who was given a chance on NHK back when the 2005 reboot happened, and it was a terrific flop, and now it's trapped in the limbo of being a pricey cable-only show that few networks want to touch. That said, it has started to gain some traction now that it's on Hulu and Netflix, though only Smith/Capaldi's runs are on the latter.
