I first played KotOR II on xbox and had a blast. Heard about the RCM and picked it up and did another playthrough and had an even greater experience.

Friendly reminder that with prime you can download this game for free on Amazon for Droid and ISO. The only problem is it's big like 2.4 G big but they made no alterations it's just straight up Kotor. I recommend it I got rid of it after a few months though because of the size and hard to maintain attention span on the phone

It's been a really long time since I played it but I think whether they come out of nowhere or actually make sense depends on how far along you've gotten the personal character conversations with Bastila. I was super autistic about maxing out the special conversations and I thought the romance was a pretty natural progression.
