To me this series is the incarnation of all the problems I have with BBC series.
I may not be objective because I hate British accent and their script writing and their acting

But I think it's still fair to say this series has problem of overreliance on the charisma of MC, sick focus on his quirkiness and shyness, dialogues that are too long and too edgy, strong independent female supporting or even cameo characters, plot twists, and finally slowmo and too many close up in photography
