Whereas in our own history Wales was where the native Britons held out for centuries, and the King Arthur legend originates from there (POTTERY?), also the Welsh name for Snowdonia is Eryri.

Lannisters have the Lion symbol on their banners, famously used by the Plantagenets who ruled England (and both the Yorks and the Lancasters irl)
