This was a great movie.

Garfield's performance in this was much better than in Hacksaw.

Even mediocre Scorsese is worth watching. The script definitely gave a lot of "I'M ACTING" moments to Driver and Garfield especially but I thought it was pretty moving overall, if somewhat drawn out.

Its really good considering the fact that everyone was bashing the movie for its theme before it even came out. He went againts all odds and created a really good religion themed movie in THE CURRENT YEAR.
