I have to see these next two mainline star wars films. I'm just too much of a longtime fan to pass them up, and believe me, I absolutely hate what they did in TFA. MAYBE after IX is over, if it hasn't improved, I'll stop, except by the time the 10th one starts I'll probably be a father and will be taking my kids.
I haven't gone to see an MCU film in theaters since Civil War. I thought they were almost all downhill after Avengers 1 with presictable plots and dumb quipping with the exception of Winter Soldier, so that's why I hung on until CW, but after that turned out to be more of the same, combined with the super pac by wheedon, I said goodbye. But that all being said I will go see infinity war, just because I have seen enough of the movies to be curious as to how it all ends, plus it will be a cultural phenomenon and no soubt my friends will be going. I know they have resttuctured Infinity War to be less of an ending and more of a bridge to phase 4, but fuck that shit. This will be a break from my boycott, then never again.

I rewatch, but not overly so. Rarely movies I've seen in the last 5 years. In addition to multiplexe's theres a couple of single screen theatres near me that play newer more artsy films and replay older flicks. You'd be amazing how good some of those 70s movies shot on film look like in a theatre when you're used to seeing them on VHS or CRT's.

I still see most of my movies in regular multiplexes though, I'm European so maybe we get wider releases for foreign films than Americans do. I rarely have any issue just completely blocking out capeshit or zootopia/minion tier kiddie trash and just picking a decent sounding movie to walk into.

Following the success of Beauty and the Beast Disney have decided to bring several more IPs into the live action world. These include Dumbo, Mulan, and The Lion King.
