when they didnt have colors in cinema the directors made films that as black and white ad thats how they wanted it to look.. like they used the fact its gonna be black and white to compose the shot and shadow cuz thats how it was.. after Technicolor was invented they did the same thing.. now they have hdr after 125 years of literally no color advancement so be fucking happy that directors has more shit/options to play with in the future

This. They no the tvs won't sell at the original price either. Sure, they will sell a few to those assholes with money that like to use said money to buy the newest thing so they can show off, but overall, they don't sell very much compared to the eventual clearance sale. Why not just start at a lower price you ask? This way, the rest of the population thinks there is some kind of value in new tvs. The clearance price seems like a bargain and they feel like they are upgrading. If the tvs were at the clearance price from the start, then not as many bother with the "upgrade" because it doesn't seem very valuable.
