Honestly, I can't think of a single aspect in which Korra surpasses TLA.

Everything about it was just less good. The writing wasn't as good, the story wasn't as good, the characters weren't as likable or charismatic, the animation wasn't as creative; I could go on. It was decent, definitely not the worst thing ever, but it couldn't hold a candle to TLA
