The cinematography in the MGS cutscenes is unironically better than anything in recent cape flicks or Star Wars movies or anything of that ilk. Why don't they just cut out the middle man and have him do the movie? It's obviously what he's been trying to do with the games for decades now, it doesn't make any sense to have that idiot with the big beard who made Kong Skull Island do it.

The exposition in this game is fantastic and fun. Yea there are a lot of elements of it that detract but the immersion is pretty good until it isn't. Lots of jarring parts but I can look past that. A lot of elements were meant for you to repeat things over and over like you would have done with games of generations past. However there's still a certain something that I can't quite put my finger on that makes me reserve that I certainly don't feel right about some parts.

Some parts are fun as fuck. Others feel like a slog. I really didn't like where the game pretty much forced you to grind for things. I really don't car much for the waiting for things to develop but I can get over that. It's not supposed to be an immediate gratification. That's what pay to win is. And that micro transaction bit is what I really detest. I don't care for making the game be easier than it already is for paying money to get equipment now. You can play your cards right and have weapons to assist you at the right time. But I really don't like being penalized for killing. I get that's supposed to be the little kojima micro game but if I want to go nuclear why not. I stealthier the whole thing just because it was easier to speed run that way.
