well actually the brachacki prop had degraded so much by the end of hartnell's run that it had been cut down quite a lot from its original shape. in troughton's run it only got worse until they managed to refit sometime early in pertwee's run.

eventually when baker came about barry newbery had designed a new box when the brachacki box just couldn't take the strain anymore.
