I think it has do do with being jewish. Not only was she caught writiing racist and rude e-mails, she's responsible for the Ghostbusters disaster. Any gentile would have been barred at Hollywood. Look what happenned to Mel Gibson in comparison. He disappeared for 10 years and he's only doing small things now.
