>Books of Doom
5 issues of a Doombot naratting DOOM's story. Little to no Doom action, instead starring a 20-something Vic going to the US, getting fucked up, doing a "train at Tibet" and returning to launch an uprising at Latveria.
>Triumph & Torment
DOOM & Strange team-up to save DOOM's mother's soul from the realm of Mephisto.
>Doom 2099
Doom gets thrown to the future and tries to take over the earth. He suceeds after 3+ issues, becomes POTUS & then President of the World, and dies to save the planet from an alien invasion.
None of these really work as standalone flicks. And moreover, will this be just a one-off, or are they planning a trilogy? If it were up to me, I'd go with:
First movie is Triump & Torment, minus Doctor Strange obviously, with Books of Doom as flashbacks.
Second movie is internal politics of Latveria. Lucia Von Bardas stages a coup, and has allies over at the US, Russia, China and whatever. Here you can use the Mad Thinker, Red Ghost and the like.
Third movie is a full scale assault, kinda like Doomwar, with the US replacing Wakanda. Doom wins, become POTUS, and the movie ends.
Dunno really, I don't think a Doom Trilogy would work. An HBO show would've been better. You could add Dracula, King Arthur and do some spooky shit. A movie limits all of that.
