What's with the "sped up" effect in the movie? Where it seems like everything is mostly slightly faster than it would normally? It's weird looking. I don't understand why they would go to all that effort to use practical effects, but give everything a sped-up effect that makes it look very artificial.

It's a holdover from the original movies, since they used that same effect to make things look like they where going faster then they actually where.

Also the Wife crap didnt make sense, why would they want to run away, when they literally lived like queens? Literally only thing that awaited them in the desert was suffering, Why did Furiosa even care? the other ppl in the slums are the ones actually suffering, the little kids that are indoctrined to die and go to valhalla, etc. Those wifes were literally the best off in that whole establishment.

The comics explain why they wanted the fuck away from Immortan Joe. He literally would have them tied down to the bed, inject his peen with Organic Mechanic's homegrown Viagra, and fuck them for the purpose of procreation. Then he'd put those chastity belts on them, toss them into the vault, and leave them there while waiting to see if they skipped a period. The only reason Furiosa didn't end up with them was because she was an imperfect specimen.
