>nuclear bomb explodes
>GET TO COVER! (behind a small concrete wall)
>they survive
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I like the show but that was fucking hilariously bad
bump
still laughing
I didnt know there was S3. Probably why you wont get any more replies
i was always taught if you can see the blast you're basically dead, but then theres all those japanese people who survived and that one guy who was at nagasaki AND hiroshima when the bombs were dropped and lived to be like 90 so i dunno. it's a tv show, can we focus on hating that faggot kid?

the last season (4) just started a week ago

hiroshima and nagasaki were tiny bombs tho compared to modern nukes

>what is blast radius

If you're within range of the shock-wave, the thermal radiation will kill you before the shock-wave hits.
However, you can survive the thermal radiation by having something in-between you and the detonation, but it's pretty much luck because there's zero warning.
If you're outside of the blast wave and indoors/behind something, you'll survive.
It was a long way away, and might have been a small bomb.
Its not CoD, a nuke isn't an instakill and still obeys physics. If the force isn't enough to break a wall you're behind, you will survive.
Also it's a show about vampire worms. Nobody gives a fuck.

the nuke they used on the show was the size of a desk fan. plus i've seen fatman and little boy they were yuuuge

If they were within the blast radius and in the open, they'd be burned to hell.
Third degree burns hell.

they didnt get hit by the blast, they were on the receiving end of wind caused by the blast. Whats more annoying is that there is a nuclear winter but most of humanity is still alive. The amount of nukes you would need for that would wipe out most of us.

in vegas they used to charge people to watch nuclear test blasts from hotel balconies

this tbqh
p sure those were rated at a few kilotonnes while 20-odd megatonnes is what we'd be chucking now
