The original story is the way it is for a reason. Making such big changes in the characters and their conclusions doesn't make any sense, and it just becomes another "sword and sandal" war movie.

A lot of the original art and myth of the tale is gone.

Watch this the other day for the first time since it came out, some faggots in a thread about the new WE WUZ TROY we're harping about it being the best ever so I thought I'd better give it another go.

Generic pleb shit, doesn't even come close to Mel Gibson's Braveheart, the dialogue was discraceful in most scenes and the battle speeches were lackluster af. There's no point in watching films like this, it's like they didn't even try, they were just like "yeah that'll do"....
