You can cherry pick all you want to make the Raimi films look good and Homecoming look bad, but the bottom line is that silver webbing was cancer. That suit looks absolutely terrible in retrospect. It didn't help that Maguire has a nuggety body and thick neck, and that they gave him strangely positioned muscle padding.

That being said, the ASM2 suit was MUCH better than the Homecoming suit. There needs to be some texture to it so it plays better with the lighting. Some of it may be that I've always preferred the McFarlane-style eyes to the Ditko ones. Even if the whole mechanical iris aspect was a cool touch.

The upcoming Blade Runner, for instance, has been shot in 6K and finished in 4K.

Just finished watching it.

It was nifty seeing Peter actually seem like a highschooler/young kid, compared to Tugboat and Garfields older looking Spidermen.

Not to bad, the humor actually fit unlike most Marvel flicks in recent years. Ned was a good partner to Peter, Karen was a qt AI, the love interests and the rest of the kids were all forgettable though.

I look forward to his Infinity War debut, his Avengers suit looks sick.

Spider-Man is a much more popular character with more recognizable actors and a bigger marketing budget, I'd be surprised if it didn't end up making more than any other movie this summer. Iron Man 1 final fight was good enough for what the movie was, and the world it was set in was like at the time.

Tonys OG suit versus the Mk 1 was literally the first instance of "super technology" in that universe at the time. After that the world accelerated, but because both suits were the first of its kind they were still completely flawed and under developed.
