As someone who stopped watching the show then began again and saw Day of the Doctor recently, I really don't have a problem with War Doctor.

I still take in account the big finish 8th Doctor stories as well as the fan made Season 26b leading up to Night of the Doctor.

Watching Day, why didn't they show a photoshop image of War regenearing into 9? They had 9 standing at the end anyway.

Oh well. John Hurt was pretty good and I was suprised how good I enjoyed this cos I found a lot of Moffat stories to be bland recently but I did really enjoy the 10th season.

Now I learn Moffat is leaving and despite me not liking him much during Smith's last season and Capaldi's first - now I want him to stay and for Bill and Capaldi to stay but now we gotta have this woman Doctor so damnit.

I literally can't think of a single good thing to say about them apart from Hurt being in them. From the ground up, every aspect of them is terrible. The writing is nightmarishly dull. Even if you take away the fact it's a War Doctor series with no real fighting, the writing is just so painful and clumsy and cliche. The plots are so standard. There's no Time War weirdness. There's no Time War proper fighting. There's no emotion. They feel like Briggs parodying himself.

I'm not kidding when I say the first audio is literally about juice.
