maybe but that is not the point of the movie

he could be but that is not the point of the movie
This movie was way too consensual but it would have been the best film of all time if at the very end, Davis had decided to vote guilty, as a ultimate reassessment.

sentencing some poor and powerless citizen to death because he might have commited the crime sure is the /pol/ idea of justice but it's only fun as long as it doesn't happen to you.
Countries like Saudi Arabia and Egypt have legal systems like that. Would OP rather live there?

Literally on the level of vhs they force you to watch when summoned to jury duty-tier. Yawn.

>hey guys! racism isbad
why do people pretend this flick is worth watching?
Those guys are probably dead now

Racism is bad...

This isn't To Kill a Mockingbird dipshit. Racism was a factor, but it wasn't the main point.
I have no idea how people consider this one of the best movies ever. It's good but it;s pretty fucking boring
For some reason I think Juror #8 was the murderer

>Racism was a factor
It was precisely 1/12:th of the film

It doesn't matter is the kid actually guilty or not. The movie just shows that we need the "not guilty until proven" system if we want to keep the actual innocent people out of prison as much as possible, with the cost of letting a small number of guilty people free.
Did he do it or not doesn't matter, that's just a plot device for the narrative

First half was a bit slow but that second half was damn good, no way you're bored watching the second half.
