Seeing the new Bladerunner trailer, I decided to go back and watch the original from 1982.

And holy shit this movie was forgettable in almost every single way.

The only thing good about it was the cinematography was amazing. Other than that, it was like someone just wanted to do a cyberpunk film without even an iota of character development or plot. Only cool shit happens at the end of the movie. Might as well just skip everything else really.

totally agree. the only thing i really remember is decker's gun. it was so fucking cool yet he never used it wtf? it's going to be awesome in this next movie when we get to see actual action instead of a boring cliche story about le nature of le what it is to be le human XDD. nobody cares about that crap in 2017
