In all seriousness I find the main concept of the Saw films pretty interesting, even if the movies themselves aren't exceptional. The concept of someone being in a trap (usually because they did something wrong, and the trap itself is tailored to them), and having to do something extremely painful to release themselves, is just a great concept. They have to choose between death, or excruciating physical pain and debilitation. The horror of the films comes from imaging yourself in that situation, and thinking: what would I do?

Why are the "you have to cut our your eyeballs" traps always the most visceral and hardest to watch? They had one in Saw 2 and then another in Saw 4.
